Overall experience was good, thanks to Andy from the aluminium side. There was very little on aluminium in the showroom and he made sure we saw all the samples we needed and went out of his way to answer our many questions. We had been put off replacing windows for several years by the slick sales approach of UPVC suppliers and we finally met a company representative who new what he was talking about and we felt we could trust. Our thanks to Andy and everyone else at WYW.

The overall experience with West Yorkshire Windows...

The overall experience with West Yorkshire Windows was very poor, initial fitting of Bi-Fold doors was terrible as they just kept shutting on themselves, to be fair when contacting the office to report the faults they sent different fitters the next day to look at the faults and they condemned the fitting saying a total refit was needed, that's when the real problems began, after many calls and a verbal confrontation with the manager he came to see the faults after a weeks delay, he agreed that the fitting was not up to standard and organized for another team to come and fix the faults. To cut a long story short after another two teams, numerous calls and a 4 WEEK delay due to fitters not being available the doors work perfectly.

Excellent initial contact. Good work team who were polite and tidy and completed the job quickly and efficiently.. The only downside I had to have a lot of return visits over the month following installation for snagging e.g. hinges fitted incorrectly and large gaps in frames. Then wrong hinges fitted. Damage inside glass panels. window needing adjusting that wouldn't close. These were remedied but it did take some time. The project looks very good now it is finished and I am very pleased with it.

Hi - been back many times and every time the impression is the same: * great salesman - same man each time, lovely man * great product *pretty good tradesman on the day - lots of them , get through the job and generally pretty tidy * one 'wow' factor would be for one of the lads to ask to borrow the hoover and hoover up once the dust sheets are lifted (the dust sheets are not always the cleanest) - there is some downtime for the lads so this would not extend the day * one let down element was some damage to a bay window - only disappointing because it was avoidable - the bay window needed more than a dust sheet on to protect it for the guys' boots *paperwork after the event a bit of a mess - one sheet had been photocopied so many times it was unreadable - asked for a copy and got a second unreadable - not asking again. Please - someone - take the time out to re-type your Product Care Guide

The quality of the workmanship and the attitude of all staff was good but communication within the organisation i.e. between the contract manager work teams, contractors and myself was poorly coordinated

Delay in fitting, poor communication from installation service (not guys installing). Poor workmanship originally on front door, this was rectified and the finished product is as I hoped it would be.
