We had our conservatory roof replaced August 2020. Really happy with the end result and the fitters were excellent; their punctuality, manners, and workmanship was excellent. Our roof was quite a complex job because the conservatory is attached to a bay so the roof had to be designed and fitted to a curved wall. The communication from administration before and after installation let them down. After paying our deposit there was a long time without any communication. As this was at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic we were worried that they may have ceased trading. After chasing them several times we did receive contact and were relieved that they were still operating. Communication during installation was very good. We were not totally happy with the plasterer; punctuality, workmanship and end result were not to the same standard as the rest of the project. And again we were let down by communication as a complaint I put in writing about the standard of work by the plasterer was not acknowledged. I know my letter of complaint was received because I received an item I had requested by return post.

Despite ours being a very difficult project - not least because of ongoing building work - the team accomodated our needs and actually had probably their longest job ever. Covid didnt help! Anyway, we are delighted with the finished product and would highly recommend 5 Star.

Two new exterior doors to replace ones at least 70 years old, we have had 5 Star windows before and found them excellent.

i had a new double glazed door and window fitted,the fitters were very polite and helpful,they worked quickly and were very skilled in what they did,they were replacing a door i ad fitted a few years ago and had warped with gaps all around,i was pleasantly surprised at the quote i had from their representative,and most pleased at the finished job,it was much bette r quality than the original.it would be helpful if prepaid envelope were supplied to return the warranty and other documentation.i have already told my family and friends about 5 star ,i highly recommend them
