The whole process from start to finish ran quite smoothly although it took a lot longer than it should. This was mainly due to the weather. The building work was interrupted by rain on some occasions. However the builders carried on as best they could and the job was done satisfactorily. I kept them going with tea and sausage sandwiches on a daily basis. On a critical note they could've been a bit cleaner after each day's work. But they were cheerful and helpful.
On another critical note there was quite a long delay between the builders finishing and the doors and windows arriving. This process could've been speeded up. All of the men who came to perform various tasks were professional and did a good job. There was also good communication with the office who always responded quickly to any queries.
Overall I would recommend 5Star as a company to anyone thinking of a conservatory or extension.

Delighted with our new patio doors! All the staff from ordering to installation have been very polite and helpful. I would have given 5 stars if correspondence hadn’t kept being addressed to my partner who had previously requested a quote for something else at this address. A minor issue but just a bit irritating when I am paying for it.

After a couple of initial administrative problems, we were thoroughly delighted with the standard of the windows fitted, that have made a fantastic feature to the views from our house.
The fitters, John & Lucas, were superb & polite, doing a great job. We would have left a five star review, had it not been for the admin errors.
On the whole though, well done.

Great work from 5 star. They have planned, sought planning permission for, and built a great conservatory extension for us. E were kept well informed throughout and all of the tradespeople were excellent. There were some delays in the completion, which is the only reason not a 5 star, but these were well.communicated to us. Would certainly recommend.

Selection, service and installation was great but two days ago we had a cold caller sales person attend the house whilst my wife was busy working from home, the sales person was very rude and dismissive when told we had recently had a door installed stated “yeah of course you did” in a condescending manner. I was until then very complimentary but that kind of rude cold calling doesn’t represent the company at all.

We are extremely pleased with the quality of the windows for the entire house and two doors, fitted by capable and attentive installers. The difference to appearance and warmth of house was immediate. After fitting, one door needed two return visits for adjustments (hence 4 stars), but the firm gave same-day response to my calls and the issue was sorted.

Our new conservatory looks great and everyone we dealt with at 5 star was polite and professional. The installation was not without its problems from damage caused to internal decoration, incomplete finishing and a damaged window pane that needed to be replaced part of the process. 5 star were quick to remedy the majority of these issues without quarrel. Unfortunately, the installation has now left us with decorating issues that we have to resolve in the adjoining room.

Superb installation of a high quality composite front door for Mr & Mrs Hodgkinson. We had used 5 Star previously at our old property and had no hesitation in using them again. The fitter was polite and a tidy and efficient worker.

We are extremely pleased with the new conservatory we have got. We were helped with the planning process and throughout the build. There were some issues along construction with subcontractors but the 5 Star team acted quickly and professionally to correct them.

Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

5 Star installed 5 new windows and now my house is fully newly double glazed. I have used them before and they are always efficient and get the job done. Very good on price too.

Office administration was excellent dealing with all our queries straight away leaving us feeling confident about the installation. All the
workmen involved in the
construction build were friendly & professional. I cannot praise them enough. If I had to find a problem it was at the beginning where no-one except ourselves noticed that we didn't have drainage from the guttering. Although it was easily rectified there did seem to be a lack of communication between those involved. On the whole, the completed build is bright & spacious. All the debris was cleared away & everywhere was left clean & tidy.
