Initial visit was prompt and clear helpful advice and quote given. Work carried out very efficiently and no mess left. The fitters were very polite and hard working. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

I had upstairs windows at the rear of the house replaced due to the original brown UPVC windows fitted in 1994 had been destroyed by the sun as the back of the house faces south. The windows had been fitted by Staybright who no longer exist, I am hoping the new windows are better quality UPVC, they have a bigger air gap so should have better thermal insulation and the frames are sturdier. The fitters did a good job with no mess and I did not need to do any decorative repairs. The whole process went to the timescales given and communication from 5 STAR was good.

Had a new front door and new sash windows fitted in 4 rooms, all done quickly and efficiently by the fitting team who made sure to clean up the mess afterwards and did a good job of patching up the bits of damage caused when removing the old windows. Only criticisms are that the initial fitting date was a couple of months later after the survey than I was originally led to expect, and there was an arch window to go over the door that wasn't ready at the same time as everything else and there was a wait of several more weeks for that final bit of work to be finished.

The Sales person cemented our decision to choose 5Star, very professional and approachable. Surveyor was thorough and gave good advice. Admin team 100% brilliant communication. Fitters confident and worked quickly. Couple of errors/accident with panes. These were dealt with and recified. It is evident that customer care is important to the Company. ( 1 pane in our bathroom now refitted upsidedown - which wasnt noticed on completion, its not very obvious, if we use 5Star in the future perhaps it can be rectified then? This fitter though is an asset to 5Star he was kind,helpful and worked really hard. Thank you, we have had compliments on how nice our windows look.

We have received just what we had hoped for.The project was to replace ageing wooden cladding on the top storey of a three storey house, plus a new window. The quality of the work was first class and has definitely improved the look of our property along with eradicating any future need for painting in years to come.




The reason for only 4 stars is simple. Everything carried out by 5 Star was of the highest standard from start to finish. Just a small problem with scaffolding, which was resolved amicably prevented 5 stars.
All of the staff at 5 Star were very professional and courteous with particular mention to the fitting team. A definite recommend.

We had a sliding patio door installed which included taking out half a wall to fit it in. A big and messy job but done to a good standard and the doors look great. Lots of nice comments on them so far! 

Quick installation of 5 windows and a door, very friendly team. A couple of minor issues to be resolved but was great as they didn’t ask for full payment until it was sorted. Guys who came to resolve the issues were brilliant, customer service received from all fitters was excellent even though they had to return 3 times fully explained the situation and got on the phone to rectify whilst at the property. 

The windows are great quality and a noticeable difference to heat retention in the house 

Really good service. Pleased so far. Only one man came to do job. Very windy day, heavy doors. Would have expected 2 men. Bit worried that worker and / or doors would get damaged.

I love our new front door. The door was installed on time. Unfortunately, we also ordered some cladding and lighting for the area under our car port. This has now been completed but 2 months after the front door even though we were advised that both pieces of work would be finished around the same time. Despite this, the front door and cladding looks amazing so I am very pleased. Hence the 4 star review.

Despite problems due to delays with the covid problems my porch was finished just before Christmas. The personnle I dealt with were easy to get on with. A good reason to choose 5 Star is the way they handled the required permissions, from Severn Trent as well as the planning permission.
