Despite a slightly longer than anticipated the door was fitted, looks good and seems to do exactly what I'd hoped. the fitter was punctual, polite and tidied up after himself!

If you want windows that let in water then I recommend this company, we had a solid roof put on our conservatory and they had to fit a frame and new window above the patio doors. First time it rained water came in they came out and bad mouthed the first installers then allegedly put it right. We’ve had them back 3 times before the leaks were fixed “we hope”.
Unfortunately the water ingress caused damage to shutters and lifted the flooring I pointed this out to WYW and they refuse to except responsibility for the damage. First excuse I should have informed them earlier I pointed out I did, Second excuse it was an “act of god” I pointed out it was an act of poor workmanship. Third excuse it was suggested I should have kept a visual on the work they carried out in case it wasn’t fit for purpose in so many words.
As I’ve said if you want windows that do not keep out the elements then this is the firm for you.

We had a set of French Patio doors fitted in late January and are very pleased with the product, workmanship and fitting. The service provided during these difficult times from initial contact with the company to completion was excellent. We would highly recommend on price and quality and will definitely use again.

We had a new back door and a front door with decorative glass and glass side panels. The product is well made and sturdy, the service was professional and the fitters were polite and efficient. The pricing is straightforward with none of the discount games that other companies use. The only reason for four stars rather than five, is that the glass pattern on the side panels was horizontal where it should have been vertical, but this was put right quite promptly so overall we are very happy with the job and would use them again

Our conservatory has just been completed to a very high standard. We were very impressed by all of the trades involved in the work from the groundworkers, bricklayers, window fitters , electrician ,plasterer and floor layer. We were pleased to have a project manager who kept us informed at each stage of the work. All were polite and efficient. It took longer than we hoped but that was down to extremely poor weather over the period and of course also the Covid restrictions. Would highly recommend this company.

For us this was a major project to demolish our existing conservatory and build a replacement. The only reason we have not given a '5' rating was that we were advised at the start that we would have an allocated project manager who would visit us and keep in contact during the 5 week job. This did not occur. We had four or five different tradesmen teams working on the job and they were all excellent. However, there were instances where we thought communication between them and head office could have been better as we had to explain a number of things that we had agreed with the sales team that had not been passed on to the tradesmen. Whilst we were able to communicate to head office via email we felt that we should have been able to talk regularly to the project manager. As to the quality of the workmanship and products, we are very pleased. Small snagging issues were dealt with efficiently and we are delighted with the end result.

We are very pleased with our new conservatory roof. All the workmen were friendly and polite and the work was completed efficiently. We've given a 4 star review because we thought communication with us from 5Star could have been better.

We had x 3 windows fitted plus a new composite door. This should of taken around 2 to 3 days to install.
Initial installation was botched by the fitters which then led to full, satisfied completion in around 1 year. The pandemic did not help, neither did the poor workmanship of the initial fitters.
A good company listens to its customers, accepts its failings and put things right. 5 star did this and after numerous fitters and surveyors the work was completed.
The products are well made and should last as there is a 20 year guarantee.
I would use this company again but would insist on experienced fitters for any future project. A good company is only as good as the people it employs.

Windows installed on 7th December 2020. The beading was appalling and the glass was scratched severely on 2 of the windows! One window didn’t open without catching! Very disappointed but it just got worse! Complaint made, after numerous emails, to no communication, to having the triple glazed glass in my windows replaced numerous times! Lied to by operations manager, very visible large fingerprints on the middle pane of glass after being told humans are not involved in the process of putting the sealed glass units together! Very miserable engineer (every time he came out) who is used as the person to rectify problems! No care given to customer dissatisfaction, brand new blinds damaged (they did replace them but not the point). The beading on the windows could not be fixed by 5Star or the manufacturer, that’s right 5star do NOT make the frames or the glass, they are manufactured elsewhere and transported, so disregard the sales pitch they make them! The beading now is just about acceptable but not what you expect from brand new 5star windows. It took an uncountable amount of attempts of the beading to be fitted! The kite marks on the glass on all three panes on all windows in different corners! Customer service absolutely horrendous! For this only to have been completed on 4th May 2021, some 5 months later! Oh not to mention the damage to 2 of the 3 frames from the amount of attempts to get the beading to fit, which we were provided with a minimal ‘goodwill’ gesture to compensate! My brand new windows which have been through more in the 5 months they have been in, than any window would ever go through in their normal life time! This is an honest review for others to make an informed decision whether to use 5star! I went to this company from their alleged reputation to be faced with the worse stressful 5 months. There is so much more that can be said with what went on, but this is an accurate summary! The only positive I can say is the triple glazing glass has made a considerable amount of difference to the noise levels!
