Quality products and quality workmanship
From the first discussion regarding a quote for replacement roof and windows, to the final product I have been impressed. There were no pushy salesmen, everything agreed and arranged over a period of time.
All the tradesmen were polite, extremely good at their job and cleaned up well at the end of the day. When I did have niggles or queries they were explained and/or sorted. The final fitter was extremely helpful. Very impressed with his help, advice and work.
The windows and doors are excellent quality and the new roof has made a massive difference. I would certainly recommend this company…

Fantastic new windows and doors
We employed Pennine to replace all the windows and doors in our home. We can't fault the Pennine products or service from start to finish. There were a couple of bumps in the road over supply dates but we expected that at the moment after recently completing some other home upgrade projects with similar issues.
Everyone we met was really helpful and the quality of the finish is outstanding. We can't thank the team enough and love the new look of our house.

Conservatory installation and afterservice
Delighted with all stages of new conservatory installation. The product looks fantastic, transforming the way house links to garden. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout, from Sales, through Installation, to final post installation completion. On-site installers and post installation maintenance engineer all very competent, and tidy. Any queries arising during and after installation resolved hassle free and promptly. A great experience in difficult times, that we continue to enjoy immensely!

Installation of velux windows in roof
Happy with the communication during the initial permit application and project development phase which by the way happened when the COVID-19 crisis started. Reactive people and oriented towards client needs.
As for the installation phase communication quality decreased a bit with the installation manager taking over. Also the phasing of the execution phase was not optimal:
- Scaffolding once installed looked too low for accessing the roof. I communicated that to the installation manager prior to the start of the works. No reply. However scaffolding height had to be rectified on the go when the works started. Was this the cause of delay so that the velux windows could not be installed as per my approved configuration (see further below) ? I will never know.
-Installation of 3 x velux windows and associated rafters in only 2 days. Time wise absolutely spot on. Good communication with the joiners/builders. Nice, professional people.
- However final installation was different from the approved drawings. I should have known this first hand. Otherwise Bon Accord should have taken the time to execute the project accurately or to communicate much earlier that our suitable design was not feasible. What it is is that the location of the windows and the spacing in between does not match our design which was reflected in the drawings.
- Works completed on a Tuesday. Scaffolding was removed the following Monday. Too much delay between the two. Scaffolding was sitting in front of my door for days with some potential for hurting people.
- Plastering of the walls started on the following Tuesday. That is 4 working days lost following the completion of the external works. Too much delay between the two. The plasterer should have come right after the veluxes were installed. Also the plasterer needed 4 days (short duration sessions) to complete the work. I think that this could have been reduced to 2 days maximum if completion at the earliest would have been the priority.
So my final word is that I am happy with the quality of the installation (I will see when the bad weather comes how the installation performs though). I am not so happy with the final configuration not being the one I´ve had approved months earlier, the quality of communication during the installation phase and the installation sequence. I would recommend Bon Accord Glass for the quality of the tradesmen, not so much for the management of the installation and the installation sequence which I think was poor and I would live the skimming/ plastering scope for someone else to do. I guess it is very hard to find someone that keeps you 100% satisfied but I know that it is somewhere out there.

Friendly and professional
Amazing experience from start to finish. The team were all really helpful, making sure we understood all the stages and time frames. They explained everything well, and took their time to make sure our requirements were met.
All work was done to a fantastic standard and we have many years ahead in our new conservatory. We can’t believe the difference it’s made. Thank you

long waiting list
Used Eden windows many times - very good products- Kevin fitted our sash windows- good standard of workmanship, - left room tidy and took rubbish away - Had to wait some while before fitting after survey, but Eden seem very busy after lockdown.

Dining room extension/living space
I'd seen a few negative reviews so I was apprehensive about using Pennine. However a good friend of mine recommended them having had a conservatory installed last year. They were over the moon with it.
The sales process was straight forward. Everything was explained in good detail about the product, process and lead times etc.
The installation didn't go completely as planned. Most trades did the work on the days planned, but the windows and Roof were delayed by a few days. However this didn't cause me any problem as I was notified in advance and I was working from home at the time.
I'm not one for standing over workers at my house (as I know some people are). I just let them get on with it. If it wasn't for the noise I wouldn't have know they were there. At the end of the day everything was packed away and left in a neat and tidy fashion.
The quality of the build and product looks to a high standard. So far everything is working as it should. No leaks or damp patches etc.
I would definitely use again.

New Garden room/conservatory
Very pleased with final result. A few bumps in the road to get there and snagging took a while to get completed which was frustrating. COVID, and the poor winter weather made the timeline to get started and completed longer than we would have liked but to be fair these were outside of Orion’s control. It was helpful having Orion take responsibility for the overall project including the planning application, although they were let down at times by the lack of communication by their subcontractors which meant we had to do some chasing. Having many years experience in the construction industry did help in agreeing onsite queries and understanding the processes being carried out, but it would not have been essential.
