I chose West Yorkshire Windows as they had done an installation for my parents last year and did a sterling job and did not want to use any other company.
From the rep that came in August when i made contact, to Steve and John who did my installation on the date I requested, I cannot find fault.
The rep understood everything I was after and at no point was there any pressure to secure a sale or to have something i did not want. It was a pleasant vist and the pricing nailed it for me.
Then Steve and John arrived on Monday 30th October to install my 7 windows and front door....what great men they are. I felt totally at ease from the minute they turned up and they did not stop working all day.
Their workmanship was astounding, they took care of my home from the second they set foot in it to the minute they left.
The finish of my windows and door blew me away, not a spot of decorating to do afterwards...the details to every little thing was marvellous.
I have had so may comments from friends about how much better my home looks now and have 3 friends that are very interested....
I would recommend West Yorkshire Windows 1000% they were so good.
Huge thanks to Steve and John for a great job, very well done.
THANK YOU.

You will notice the discrepancy between acceptancy levels of details of the replacement of our conservatory roof with solid insulation and tiles and overall assessment. The time involved and its reasons are the answer.
The job was scheduled from 31st July to 4th August and the roof was completed in that time. The lighting replacement was not - that took until 20th October!
It was found that the original fittings would not hold on two thicknesses of plasterboard plus soffit and the time was taken up finding suitable replacements which adjusted horizontally and vertically, as the originals did.
The problems arose because the fitters and electricians on the erection of the conservatory originally in 2005/6, job 3761, failed to liaise correctly and, as a result, a cable could not be run to the ridge of the roof for the lighting and it had to be fitted in the soffit. If the lights had been in the ridge there would have been no problems.

The largest double glazed panel had dirty marks within the gap and needs to be replaced. I was also a bit taken aback by having to pay the fitters immediately after installation.

Overall we are very pleased. However having to remove the wing walls caused the holes in the floor to be filled: As we are having the floor covering fitted ourselves I will reserve judgement on the floor repairs.
