Aftersales care is disgraceful. Nobody contacts you back, we have had our conservatory for 9 years now with broken seals on the skylights. We have told them over and over again and nobody will take responsibility. Also the back door has discoloured, we sent pictures, again nobody cares. The culture seems to be to blame everyone else within the company. Would not recommend this company for that reason alone.

Having had no previous knowledge of Visual we were not sure what to expect, but we did not need to have had any concerns. Throughout the entire process we were delighted with the helpful attitude of all your staff and the fitting teams were first class, being efficient, polite and friendly and went to great pains to ensure our satisfaction as a result my wife and I are delighted with our new windows and doors and would have no hesitation inrecommending your company in the future.

I had great difficulty getting someone to commit to a date for fitting everytime I rang the person I needed was out on site and didn't return my call which I thought wasn't very good . On my fourth call the person I spoke to (still not the person I was trying to get hold of) suggested a date in the following week and the work was done on that date. I had waited for two weeks after I had paid £500.00 deposit and I just thought that someone should have come back to me and told me when the job was going to happen. It wasn't good customeer service.

Good job I am a project manager but just a shame I could not be on the job full time. Builders were a nightmare, untidy, destroyed my lawn, started to build it in the wrong place, stone does not match existing. Pointing several different colours and type. Floor not suitable for conservatories. Window fitters excellent. Electrician did not know I was ? For an 8 x 6 Orangery it could have been a great example for Conservatory Outlet.

The project started well with attentive salesman and quick fitting date. I paid a large chunk of the price agreed. Fitters on the day were polite and professional and the product looked good albeit in the dark. I paid the full balance as requested. On inspection of the porch in the morning, the work had not been completed to the highest standards and there was a leak. A piece of work agreed as part of the negotiations also hadn't been undertaken. Finally, my wife was unhappy that the door was sticking. On ringing the company I found the attention levels had dropped but we did eventually have someone turn up unannounced (we had visitors) The man was sarcastic and blunt and left without doing any of the work. Over 3 weeks later nothing further has been heard and the agreed work has not been completed.

This was my third order in appointing you to fit...

This was my third order in appointing you to fit my new windows and doors. First two were with conservatory outlet and this one was with Visual. Having been told that you are all Conservatory Outlet I was getting phone calls from Conservatory Outlet sales team who I placed my first two orders with and was told that Visual are not part of Conservatory Outlet and was informed number of time to cancel my order with them and come back to place an order with them. This was the only complaint I have for being told to cancel my order. On the day of the fitting I was pleased to see that the van which turned up was from Conservatory Outlet. If you like more detail on the above matter please free to call me.

I am not keen on tick boxes but have done a few....

I am not keen on tick boxes but have done a few. The job was to replace an old "plastic" roof with Pilkingtons. Overall the room is much nicer, warmer, brighter - as I was told to expect. The surveyors who visited were helpful. I was told to the job had to be done before Christmas (as part of some sales initiative I expect) and so cleared the room completely. However, the job was not done until January which meant considerable inconvenience over Christmas and New Year. The fitters were quick and happy workers and left little mess behind them. My remaining comments concern the practicality of the roof. The slope is very slight - as expected - but I did not expect it to retain water as it does. There is little appreciable run-off which leads to pooling. I was told about the self-cleaning properties of the glass. In reality the comparative wetness means it does not dry quickly and airborne litter rests there. In addition, some of the edges drain better than others which suggests a variation in accuracy. The gutter does not drain completely but pools in the centre - so it is never empty. That means it will freeze. I have had a return visit, with prospects of some improvement to the slope - which ideally might have been effected on the first fitting. I have had no follow-up report. Whether it will help - and thus be worth the fuss - is a moot point. I envisage having to have it professionally cleaned frequently. The gutter definitely needs re-hanging. If I had not paid the bill in full I'd have been inclined to hold some money back. I look forward to any help. Oh, the sales team from Sanderson were far too forceful and pushy, desperate to get on site even though I'd said no politely and firmly. Frederic Manby
