Terrible back office admin and massive delays with zero contact
Bifold doors and windows fitted to rear of property. Paid a deposit in May all remedial work finally finished in December. Fitters were great but admin from the office awful. Parts missing, fitters sent to fix errors with wrong parts and the office never contacted me proactively. I would have been more understanding if a) they had apologised b) they had actually taken the time to contact me rather than having to continually chase and b) been polite or even a little sympathetic on the phone. It’s a shame as actually happy with the doors and windows and the fitters but would never recommend this company to anyone given the terrible back office experience.

So slow
Despite initial good vibes, dealing with this company was simply a headache (except for when 1 individual got involved, she was much more proactive and was great).
Understandably there were issues due to COVID, however the vast majority of our experience was not due to this.
Very poor communication, delays with no apology/explanation, not showing up when expected, errors in building meant that a wall had to be rebuilt before the windows could go on, damage to the finish of the doors and window frames, lack of care and attention when installing meant there were scratches and sealant everywhere… the list goes on. Not to mention being told the final instalment was overdue before we had signed off that we were satisfied! Avoid at all costs.

The fitter extensively damaged wall plaster in my hall and stuck in back with mastic. Unfortunately I didn't notice this until the evening. The following morning I reported my serious concerns to the sales representative in the Bexley office. When I described what the fitter had done he said he agreed with my anger and would sort it out with his colleague. I have not heard from the Bexley office and am of course very angry. Hopefully this obvious lack of concern may be due to the fact I am a widowed pensioner - I really hope not! Prior to installation of my Solidor Composite front door I asked the rep to measure for a storm porch to my front door, unfortunately due to the problems with the installation I will be approaching a different company. This was a totally unacceptable experience.
