We have recently had to get two upstairs windows replaced that was causing mould and drafts, 5 star went trough our options clearly and explained the workings of the windows we chose, was expecting our windows to be done in June but we are in April and they have managed to get them out and fitted already, very happy with the quality, we could only afford the upstairs two but will definitely be having 5 star out when we decide to get some more changed, thank you

Two windows installed, one half way over a lean-to greenhouse. A problem to which the installation team applied a lot of thought and a complete success. Team were thorough and left the site probably cleaner than when they arrived.

I was very happy from start to finish. The salesman was on time and gave clear information. He kept in touch and processed my order. The 2 men that installed my windows arrived early and got straight to work. They were friendly and did a great job. Would highly recommend the complete service.

From the begining of the design right through to completion, we were very impressed with every member of the team. Always polite, friendly and efficent. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We are extreemly pleased with the conservatory. Would highly recommend 5 Star Windows

The most positive aspect is the finished product but the process of getting there was difficult to say the least. There were several accidents/problems and although they were eventually corrected, the communication between the office, ourselves and the contractors was very poor. We were given dates for work to take place, when no-one turned up and although this was to be expected due to the pandemic, there was no contact from the office to advise us of this, meaning we stayed in all day expecting someone to turn up when they did not. In discussion with a director from 5 star, he did explain that they are going through an expansion phase and were making system improvements. There was also some goodwill shown to us due to acceptable deviations from the contract. However, we would recommended using 5-star based on the finished product but they certainly need to improve their management systems.

We have received just what we had hoped for.The project was to replace ageing wooden cladding on the top storey of a three storey house, plus a new window. The quality of the work was first class and has definitely improved the look of our property along with eradicating any future need for painting in years to come.




The reason for only 4 stars is simple. Everything carried out by 5 Star was of the highest standard from start to finish. Just a small problem with scaffolding, which was resolved amicably prevented 5 stars.
All of the staff at 5 Star were very professional and courteous with particular mention to the fitting team. A definite recommend.

We had a sliding patio door installed which included taking out half a wall to fit it in. A big and messy job but done to a good standard and the doors look great. Lots of nice comments on them so far! 

5 Star converted the roof of our conservatory, installing a Guardian Roof. The service was excellent. Coordination of installers and other trades was very efficient. We now have use of the conservatory during both winter and summer. We are extremely satisfied with the service, installation and finished product.

Job still not complete after 7 weeks.  Wrong glass in door, knocker omitted and door does not seal.  Window handles catching on frame.  Gap under windowsill not filled.  Would not recommend.

Appearance of window is excellent. Well made ,fitters were efficient and new what they were doing
