The product is good but the installation was a nightmare.
After being told the installation was complete it took a further four hours work by a company fitter before missing parts were fitted and the roof was waterproof.

This is the second time I have had 5-star windows fitted. On each occasion was impressed by the quality of the product. The windows open and shut easily. The attention to detail was impressive.
I have triple glazing on my windows, and have always had difficulty with the old windows when unlocking and opening the windows as the central bar of the triple glazing obscures the central bar of the double glazing. This was not a problem for your fitter as he moved the central bar slightly off-centre, and now opening and shutting the windows is a joy. The fitters did a good job and were very tidy.
Altogether very pleased with my purchase.

Having decided to use a local company to replace our porch and various windows which had condensation in the glass panels we called 5 Star in Kidderminster, the Worcester showroom was shut during the Covid pandemic. The salesperson arrived promptly at the appointed time and was extremely helpful advising on the best way to deal with our various problems. Once our order had been manufactured, which was quite quick considering the lockdown situation, the fitters took 2 days to complete the job. They were prompt, friendly and did an exemplary job providing additional trims and filling pre-existing cracks to give the job a smart finish.
There were some post fitting snags but these were sorted out very quickly.
Throughout the whole process the communication with the office was excellent and timetables were largely adhered to. The entire job was conceived and completed during the Covid pandemic and within its various restrictions.
I would certainly recommend 5 Star to anyone.

From start to finish everyone we dealt with from 5star were friendly, helpful, and did what they promised - what more could you ask! Their surveyor listened to what we wanted and came up with solutions. On the arranged day the fitters turned up on time and installed two doors(one a double door) and very large windows in about 5 hours of hard work.
They protected our parquet floors as promised and cleared up leaving the area spotless. In addition they carefully rerouted tv and satellite cables (which had gone through the old wooden frames) through a brick leaving the plastic frame undisturbed. The windows and doors look great and are a huge improvement on the old single glazed wooden ones dating from 1960. We were recommended 5star by an acquaintance and we are very happy to second that recommendation!

Overall very pleased with the result. Project did however take longer than anticipated due to manufacturing / scheduling issues and hot temperatures which adversely affected the plastering. Great friendly team from all those we had dealings with. Also manged to incorporate bespoke LED lighting which was not part of the standard offering. Would happily recommend & use their services again.

Work carried out quickly and efficiently. Pleased with the products chosen.  Some wider trim required to cover gap between door frame and original floor. Some window buttons to allow windows to be moved to allow cleaning from the inside are too stiff and require a screw driver to move them. Unfortunately we found some old screws lying in the gravel parking area from the old windows, probably when loading the van with the waste.

We were very impressed with the Kidderminster showroon and the reception staff who answered every question we asked.

Salesman's appoinment was booked, he arrived on time, was definitely not pushy, explained every thing to us and when requested gave us an acceptable quote.
Installation, although delayed by a few days, was expertly carried out with due care, resulting in a job we are very pleased with.

Things went great at the start, right products, fantastic price, the salesman was ace, explained everything in great detail. The deal was a 'no brainer, at that bargain price, having checked out the opposition.
The surveyor measured up, explained the slight complication to our setup, being an older property! The original window frames had a sash box set up, which had been modified by previous owners, and a framework had been installed, hiding over the mechanics. He advised that the frame should remain in situ, thus reducing the complication, and simplifying the fitting. Definitely, the way to go, easy fit, window out, window in, no problem!
NO such luck!
The frames supplied turned out to be too big, and wouldn't fit in the existing framework, so they couldn't be fitted on the day! There then followed a period of visits from the surveyor, etc, trying to decide who was at fault!
We eventually decided that the way forward was to accept the frames as supplied, but this involved removing the existing sash box frames, thus creating even more work than intended. A plasterer had to be involved to reinstate the surrounding window frame, and so we had to endure even more mess! Both windows had this treatment!
In fairness to '5 Star', they persevered throughout, and even though the job was drawn out, we couldn't fault the workmen. They made sure they cleaned up, every time! The resulting job was fantastic!
Thank you 5-star windows, we hiccupped along the way, but the final result was worth every penny, well done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your company!

I am absolutely delighted with my 3 replacement windows. The workmanship is excellent and finished to a very high standard.

For the 48 years I have been in this house, during that time a number of new windows and doors have been fitted by different companies, but I can honestly say I have never experienced such a professional company as 5 Star. They are excellent in all aspects from the first contact to the final fitment. The product is of the highest standard and fitted to a very high degree of workmanship. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to my friends and hopefully will use them again in the not too distant future.

Our conservatory has just been completed to a very high standard. We were very impressed by all of the trades involved in the work from the groundworkers, bricklayers, window fitters , electrician ,plasterer and floor layer. We were pleased to have a project manager who kept us informed at each stage of the work. All were polite and efficient. It took longer than we hoped but that was down to extremely poor weather over the period and of course also the Covid restrictions. Would highly recommend this company.
