thanks to all the staff at 5 star involved in our installation, we are very happy with our new windows and doors, the front door is the best improvement and has made such a difference to our home. We have had plenty of compliments on our door and would recommend 5 star to any of our family and friends. Thank you for a job well done.

Communication really let your team down but otherwise very good service.

This was quite a significant change to our house and we were very nervous on how we went about making this happen Alan at 5 Star Kidderminster put our minds at rest very early on with a clear plan and price of what we required with a lot of flexibilty in what they could do for us. When the building work began the guys were great and were hard working, this was done quite quickly and we waited a short time for delivery of windows, doors, roof and fittings which had to be measured for correct fit, again once they arrived they were put up quickly and professionally, then electrical and plastering was all done to a high standard Overall a first class job with just a few tweaks which they were happy to sort out. I would say using 5 Star is a no risk option as their experts are on hand to guide you through any issues which you naturally have with a large build of this kind. We had confidence in them and they delivered, it looks first class. thank you

Really not sure whether I'd recommend - we are definitely in 2 minds! Everything went extremely well to start with and we ad a good start date, but then things started to slip. We had no further communication with the salesperson, Ross Manser, after sending emails stating our issues, although Mark Pratt dealt with these. The sub contracted builders built in cold, wet weather and their brickwork was very poor. Even coming back innumerable times they still haven't made an acceptable job of this. Mark told me he'd get them back again but there has been no sign of this. One of their 2 pillars was 'out' and their heights not accurate, meaning our roof is 1" out of true! Then we had a 6 week delay waiting for the doors and roof - would have been longer had I not pushed. These were fitted well and the plastering was, equally done well. We had issues again though with the subcontracted electrician who was awkward and has cracked a tile under our fuseboad (denying it) and fitted a poor quality dimmer switch that causes the lights inside the room to flicker when they are dimmed. They also fitted a pir security light outside on the ring main so it came on when the conservatory lights were on! The build should have had ventilation, which I mentioned at the planning stage, yet didn't and we had trouble drying out the plaster, even when we hired an industrial dehumidifier. After a good deal of negotiation we purchased a solution and 5 Star took this cost off their price. So... would we recommend? A difficult one! We are very pleased with (most) of our finished room, but we have had issues along the way. The selling process was good but, overall, we have not felt we've had a great experience. It seemed that those who sell aren't interested in problems afterwards! To be fair the work of those who are employed by 5Star themselves seems to be good, our real issues came from their sub contractors, but, if these people aren't up to the job, then different sub contractors should be used.

Overall very happy but communication on the whole wasn't great. Changes we made weren't communicated, if they couldn't come for whatever reason, there was no communication. Project manager, as far as we were concerned, wasn't very good. Only visited the site once, once the job was completed, told me & my wife different things and generally, didn't come across as needed; was easier to speak directly to customer services who were brilliant and didn't just argue with you when you rang up with a concern. Would definitely recommend 5Star (already recommended to several neighbours who have used them); we weren't 'sold' a conservatory, they listened to what we wanted, helped come up with a solution and gave us plenty of options. Really really happy with the finished conservatory, great customer service (just don't bother with the project manager, speak to the office directly!) and we've now got a fattastic conservatory to enjoy :)

Lyndon was my advisor and he was extremely helpful without any pushy sales technique. Very prompt replying my many questions by email and text. Extremely patient going through the design and again when I visited the showroom. All staff I met in the showroom were very polite, helpful and made me feel as if they genuinely wanted to help and valued my custom. Very pleased with our new conservatory and the se vice f on 5 Star. We do however wish the workmen had protected our quarry tile floor whilst they worked. It was open to the elements and was scuffed and scratched from the work debris and their work boots. We continue to try to polish out the marks.
