Maybe ok for small jobs but if you want something more substantial - check, check and recheck documentation and trust nothing! An absolute nightmare of a company. Replacement of old conservatory with something better insulated so big money involved. Still in dispute 6 months after build commenced - which was 2 months late and heading into winter time - as they came up with the wrong design following a mess up with the contract. Their fault not mine and not sent to me as it should have been so claimed I agreed to something I know damn well I didn't! Plus exterior has been left in a terrible state - an eyesore - with runs in the rendering which dripped on to the patio. Arguing over final balance and compensation. Totally shocking - and I never normally bother to write reviews... I am so hacked off with them!!

I have used 5 Star several times over the years and in two different properties. On each occasion I have received excellent service, the fitters have always been polite, friendly and very good at their jobs.

I would happily recommend 5 Star to my friends.

This was the second batch of windows we have had done and as with the first the service was excelent. From the initial sales person through the survey contacts from the officde and finally the install.
The first batch were fitted over 15 years ago and are still working perfectly.
We would recomend to all.

We ordered through 5-Star knowing they were local & knowing Ross who works there. Ross helped us tremendously throughout our purchase alongside the installation crew at the time of install. The process took longer than expected but we did order a door to be designed & built & then found it was being built over in Ireland. The wait was, now we have it, well worth it!

The work was carried out over five days in March 2026. The first three days was spent removing the existing polycarbonate roof and replacing it with a Livin Roof Utech Panels Aqua Glazing. The next two days involved boarding and plastering the ceiling. The quality of the work and materials used was outstanding and beautifully finished. The fitting team and plasterer were pleasant to have in our home and showed a genuine keenness and concern to get the best result. They are true professionals, very 5 Star quality and value for money.

I can’t praise the window fitters enough very clean workers and appreciate that they considered that I have breathing difficulties and tried to keep doors close as much as possible. Very impressed by how they cleaned up afterwards and never left a mess.

From start to finish 5* windows have been very good, the process could not have gone better. From our first interaction with Mick, who couldn’t have been more helpful to the installation by Lee who was brilliant. I would 100% recommend this company.

We were very pleased with how the windows looked when the job was completed. Initially after the windows were installed there was a few things that required tidying up but 5 Star soon organised someone to come out and make a snagging list followed by the fitter visiting to sort out the issues and rectify them to our satisfaction.

It’s unfortunate that I have to write this but our experience with 5 Star Windows was not good. The fitters failed to turn up to fit on the arranged day. They came the following day and did the fitting only to crack one of the windows. The replacement glass took 6 weeks to change.  The experience with the scaffolding company was very very poor. They did not arrive when arranged and when they did turn up they left the roof in a very untidy mess with screws etc left. The worst however was the fact that we caught one of the scaffolders urinating in our garden. Absolutely disgusting as I am sure you have to agree. We will not use you again . I would hope that you take this matter up with the scaffolding company 

Sales person was so rude on first contact. Belittling even. She clearly didn't want to discuss anything, just wanted to get someone around to my house for what i suppose would be a hard sell. If you are on your own and trying to navigate through the best options for an extension and you can afford this system I suggest you try elsewhere.

We chose 5 Star as they had carried out work on another property for us. From start to finish the service we received was excellent. From the sales staff to the fitters, our jobs were stress-free. Sales team explained what was available and the cost (No hidden extras). We were given dates for the fitting of the products ( 11 windows followed at a later date by patio doors).
The fitters arrived on time on the specified dates, and worker efficiently and professionally with brilliant attention to detail. At the end of each day the site was left clean and tidy.
The reason that we mention "Jobs" is because we were so impressed with the initial installation of the windows that we elected to have our patio door replaced at a later date.
We have been so impressed by both the service we received and the quality of the products, we would recommend 5 Star to anyone considering replacement windows and doors
