The job was for an existing conservatory to have a complete new top half. Initial start date was cancelled. New date given 3 weeks later. The end product is now OK, but it was hard work getting there. The foundations were initially failed due to incorrect info being put on our file. Could have cost us around £1600 for underpinning had I not queried it. We asked for led lighting, but was told a definite no on more than one occasion. This was eventually agreed after I insisted on WYW checking with Guardian. The new window sill didn't fit and had to have a new section jointed in. Three large panes of glass were noticeably scratched and had to be replaced. The dates for plastering and for electrical work were allocated incorrectly. According to the schedule, the electrician was due to come out after the plastering work. That meant we had to rearrange appointments to allow the electrician to come out earlier. WYW website stated “Internally, the vast majority of Warm Roofs come finished in painted plasterboard as it offers a modernistic and modest outlook that is impossible to dislike”. This intimated that the roof would be painted. After pointing this out the website was changed within an hour!! I had taken a snapshot of the original, however, and after an exchange of emails a discount of "250 was agreed.
