We had problems with incorrect beeding supplied...
We had problems with incorrect beeding supplied which resulted in 5-week delay. Not much altered by way of apology and no compensation. Installers did not check window thoroughly, and did not oil runners or clean windows. There was a gap which was eventually corrected, but only after persistence on my part.

I had 5 windows and one door installed
The workmen worked without disrupting the family. They were polite and finished the installation in less time than originally suggested. They cleaned up and made sure everything was fitted and worked correctly

Although on the whole we are currently satisfied with the installation there are a couple of things we would point out to help you improve your service in the future. The sales person gave us an unrealistic timescale for how long the installation would take - we were originally told 2 - 3 days! There was a lack of communication within 5 Star regarding a certain aspect of our installation - it does not appear the relevant information was passed from the surveyor to the installers. Whilst the installers were good and the plasterers were excellent, unfortunately the electrician turned up 2 days late and was not as professional / helpful as everyone else who came to site. It would be good to have someone from 5 Star keeping the customer up-to-date throughout the installation & co-ordinating the other tradesman.

A bit of confusion over the specification when the work was being done. In particular we had opted to use another firm to do the flooring. We weren't made aware (or at least dis not pick up) that that meant 5* wouldn't fit skirting boards. Not a big deal and sorted out amicably.
All in all a high quality product delivered and fitted to a high standard by some very nice people.
