The build was fantastic. However, from roof/window fitment onwards we had problems with workmanship. But it was sorted out eventually.

Excellent job but took a lot longer to put in than anticipated.

This project was for an orangery extension. Overall, we are extremely happy with the end result which is exactly as we hoped for. However, there were a few 'issues' along the way that could be improved. The first issue was the ordering of the glass. 6 out of 8 glass units that arrived were incorrect - 4 should have been fitted with internal blinds and they weren't; 2 should have been side opening windows but arrived as fixed; and 4 should have had trickle vents but only 1 arrived with that fitted. All 6 glass units had to be re-ordered. Unfortunately, one of the re-ordered side windows was the wrong size and had to be re-ordered a second time. All tricks vents were satisfactorily retro-fitted. Had a number of problems with getting the frames to fit correctly so that all seals were correctly seated but got there in the end. The second issue was the mess created by the plasterers and the flooring installers. Dust sheets were not used and we spent a total of nearly 15 hours in cleaning up the dust/mess that was repeatedly left on all our furniture/TV etc. The third issue was the departure of the project manager from the company which let me having to chase things around and coordinate matters myself to get back on track. Piling and foundation laying - fantastic and to schedule. Building/brickwork - fantastic and to schedule. Carpentry - excellent and to schedule. Roofing - fantastic and to schedule. Glazing - multiple issues with ordering and fitting and ran over schedule. Electrics - excellent and to schedule. Plastering - very, very messy but great end result/finish and to schedule. Flooring - very messy but fantastic end result/finish. Heatwave meant it ran behind schedule. Other than that, communication with head office was excellent and all issues were satisfactorily resolved in the end.
