Please pass on our thanks to those concerned within County as both Melinda and I have been absolutely delighted both with the quality of the product and the professionalism for the install from both Jim and Michael throughout this stage. They are both a credit to County with their meticulous attention to detail and really do go the extra mile in making sure everything goes well throughout the install. I was especially impressed with fact they will simply not take any shortcuts. The windows, door, cladding etc. are also of very high quality and we couldn’t be happier in our choice.

I and my family have been using Amber for years for replacing our windows, doors and conservatories. From the start to finish the whole business cannot do enough for us and always deliver a fantastic product. The team are polite and tidy and quick. On the rare occasion we have had to ask for aftercare the. The follow up is also quick and efficient and we was always made to feel special. Thanks to all the team

On the whole we were pleased with the salesman, the ordering, measuring and the fitting date. The fitters were really efficient, neat,hardworking, polite and respectful. We do love our windows but it's just a shame we found a couple of faults that we are still waiting for one of them to be put right. At the bottom of the living room window farme was scraped, it was rough and some of the white was showing through the black painted frame. This has been painted black but it is rough (we can live with this). The glass on the same window has a scratch on the outside that you can feel. We are getting a replacement for this in the future. We had two doors fitted a few years ago and are very satisfied with doors which still look like new.

The whole project from start to finish went smoothly. The attention to detail and the polite and effective communication ensured at every stage that our needs were met. Steve Cooper was particularly effective in interpreting the needs of Orion the original builders who still had a say in what was built within the first 10 years of construction of our home. From outline drawings and schematics to achieving permission to proceed all queries were cleared and acted upon. The groundwork was started on time as agreed and from then on things moved at a very fast pace within the 3 week planned project time. Groundwork was completed in the first week. The second week walls went up and by the start of the 3 week the glazing was completed and we were water tight. First fix services were installed as the build progressed. Plastering was finished at the end of the third week and project completed by the following Tuesday. When the heated floor, joinery work and final fix electrical work was completed. The work had run on due to a very small delay because of the bank holiday. By the end of the fourth week I had reinstated the garden and painted and decorated throughout. Our neighbours were very impressed with the site organisation and cleanliness as were we. There was very little disruption considering all materials had to be transported through the house from front to back. The only evidence of work being done was the skip in the drive way and pallets of brick and block which were not there very long. All in all a most successful project. West Yorks Windows built an excellent quality conservatory/orangery with a high standard of workmanship, and quality of fittings, using some of their very good tradesmen, and some drafted in. I would also say the price was very competitive, and we had no 'hidden extras' to pay for. The advisor in the showroom was very good. However, unfortunately,the project management, communications, and logistics were at best poor, - so I would not recommend if you wanted continuity of work on a project taking more than a couple of days. Be prepared for delays as they have many jobs on the go at once. Work was often left uncompleted, and the guys were sent off to other sites due to various problems - leaving the project open to the elements, with us having to project manage (ring HO to get things done,and to get them to come back to finish jobs). Overall we are happy - excellent build quality with some very good tradesmen that do a good job, just some of the organisation from above let it down. In summary we would recommend on quality/construction/price/showroom experience, but not on Project Management/Communication/Logistics.

So pleased with the room-in use all the time.
