Delighted with design and final product. Experience tarred by poor communication and organisation and lack of attention to detail.

Overall a good project with helpful office staff without being overbearing, excellent fitters, a good project manager and an excellent quality product. We did however have to compromise because the overall height of our bi-fold doors had left no margin of tolerance and the initial fitting left the threshold below our house floor level which had we not accepted a compromise would have meant the doors/frame would have needed to be re-made. After the project manager came to site and we allowed the compromise, no one has contacted us from Eden windows to discuss since.

From start to finish service was impeccable. Salesman Ian Hislop very helpful. Installers were very efficient. Cleaned up every night when they finished work, no mess whatsoever. Could not have been more helpful if they tried. If I ever required glazing servicing in the future I would certainly have them back again.

Anybody that knows me will know that I like things to be perfect just had Paul & his team into replace windows for me these guys are a brilliant bunch of lads carrying out a first class service would highly recommend them if you are looking for windows & doors.

Following the installation of a new front door and side panel it became apparent that the glass was not as per our expectation / order. Having contacted Clearview on the day of installation (3rd of August) to arrange resolution of the problem and further chasing on the 16th of August I still await a call back - some 20 days later - this is simply unacceptable customer service and if not resolved soon I will be taking this matter I am now beginning to regret purchasing a new conservatory roof from Clearview - which is currently scheduled to be installed 5 days later than the original installation date I was given - not a great start to phase two of our works but I will give Clearview a chance to hopefully redeem themselves

This is the second occasion we have used Mitchells Glass to install doors and windows. There were issues with installation last time, i.e workmen using quality furniture as step ladders to install windows and the damage caused to paintwork in other areas of the house. One of the doors has since had to be replaced completely under guarantee, and still feel that when this happens due to poor quality a full 10 year guarantee should be issued with the new door at date of installation, and not just the remainder of the initial 10 year guarantee on the original door!!! After this experience we said we would never used Mitchells Glass again. Having looked at other installers in the area, we returned to have replacement doors fitted as we felt although slightly more expensive than their competitors, they were superior doors in quality, colour choice and fitments. On this occasion, we had different fitters and they could not have been more professional in the installation. We are thoroughly delighted with the new doors and they have totally transformed the look of the house. Would definitely recommend these fitters, just a pity they didn't install the doors and windows in our other house.

In August 2017 we had all of our windows replaced with grey PVC which looked great with our old stone and slate roof. We also had three of our windows cut down to floor level to let more sunshine in and two other sills lowered to radiator level. The building work was very good with the wet dash harling being repaired in a way that blended very well with the existing harling. With pine moulded finishings inside the whole effect was wonderful. The team of joiners and one bricky was not intrusive and they were all very pleasant folk to have around for a week. Their craftsmanship was superb. We are very very happy with our new windows and with the extra light it feels like a new house.

All excellent but post installation snagging hampered by poor communication very pleased with quality.
