We needed to replace all but the low brick walls of an old conservatory that had (rotten) wooden framed windows and a corrugated polycarbonate type roof, meaning it was freezing in the winter and boiling hot in the summer. We got quotes from several companies including Clearview. We opted for Clearview as their price was competitive, their product looked good (we visited the showroom after the salesman had been to us and measured up etc) and their lead time (we had not expected the work to be done before Christmas) was much better than the other companies'. I cannot fault the whole process or the people. The options for types of glass roof, opening window types and options, lighting etc were clearly explained and we were advised against some costly 'extras' that one of the other companies had suggested we would definitely need. The site survey was conducted really quickly after we had signed the contract and paid the deposit. The surveyor was excellent, talked through any concerns or issues he had and subsequently produced drawings which were sent to me for approval. Work started on time, as promised, and rather than one team who did everything, they had individuals who were experts in their own field - electricians, plasterers, pointers, etc. That did mean that there were lots of visits by all of these trades as their work was required. Luckily, I am not out at work all day and I would say that this made things particularly easy for us, as I would often get a call from one of the team asking if they could come the next morning or even later the same day. Absolutely fine for me but not sure how that might be for a family where no one was available during the day? That said, without exception, every single person arrived as agreed, the work was done quickly, cleanly and professionally, The work was completed exactly as per the agreed schedule and in plenty of time for Christmas. The final visit was from a lovely chap who came and did a full clean of the new conservatory meaning it was ready for me to simply move furniture etc straight in. During the fitting of the roof, there was some accidental damage to an outside light, but this was swiftly resolved by Clearview making good the damage. I cannot fault Clearview - and we now have a wonderful space which brings the garden in and the house out to the garden. Without making any changes to the existing radiator in there, the thermal properties of the new roof and windows means it is warm and comfortable even in the current freezing weather and I have no reason to doubt that if we ever get a summer, it will be possible to enjoy the conservatory then too. It is a big investment to make, but I am glad we chose Clearview.

From day 1 it was a pleasure to deal with Amber.The staff were all polite and courteous and the tradesmen arrived punctuality and left no mess when they left. The work was completed to a good standard and when I noticed a small problem after the installation it was dealt with quickly and efficiently.I would have no hesitation in recommending Amber to friends and family.In all very satisfied.

Further to the last of our windows being installed this week, I would like to highlight the professional service given by Kevin and Ryan. The windows themselves are a fantastic product, which is why we have waited to be able to afford to finish the house off in all the same units. The workmanship shown by Kevin and Ryan however is also second-to-none which is why I specifically requested them to be our fitters. There is no ‘that’ll do’ attitude, they are polite and friendly and they always leave the site clean and tidy. Please pass our thanks on to them again…

A few teething problems but I can say that Jennifer Spencer went over and above to sort out our problems. Lakeland you have a little gem there. Fantastic customer service skills, kept us up to date all the time and nothing was to much trouble. Jenny is a credit to your company.
