First rate service e from start to finish

This is the third time I have used Trademark Windows  for the installation of double glazing and I highly recommend them.  From initial enquiry then house visits when every option was explained in detail.  Photos were take front and back so that we could see how our house would look with the windows of our choice.  Every detail of the project was covered.  We were kept notified throughout the process of likely delivery and installation dates.  The installation team were excellent.  They were happy to keep us appraised at each stage of the installation.  It was great to see and appreciate their expertise.  Seven windows removed and replaced and not a speck of dust left anywhere.  All in all, an excellent team job which displayed the first class standards shown by all at Trademark Windows.

All Round Great Service

Trademark Windows were an absolute pleasure to deal with, from first contact, until the window was fitted.

We needed to replace a round window in our porch from an old single glazed unit, that was rotting away, to a new double glazed window. It was not an easy job, and the glass/frame had to be custom made. The price quoted was extremely competitive, and the fitter who came to install the window was really friendly, knowledgable and left zero mess or 'stuff' to tidy up afterwards. We didn't even need to repaint around the frame!

Overall we were very impressed with the service we received, and would highly recommend Trademark Windows to anyone.

Clearview and Ultraroof 380 installation

I had two jobs undertaken by Clearview last year. One of these was a 3.5m x 4.5m Ultraroof 380 roof fitted to my existing Conservatory at a cost of £16,500. Clearview were not the cheapest but I liked the sound of a managed project and they got my money based on that and the fact that their sub-contractors were all Ultraframe trained. I now have a good new roof but the path to this end-state was traumatic. The roof that was delivered had an incorrect pitch due to Clearview incorrectly transcribing the architect’s direction onto their Ultraframe order form. My old roof was in a skip before this was noticed. A two day/one week job became a three week/month job with my furniture under tarpaulins for the duration while a new roof was made. My first Project Manager mysteriously disappeared and my second went on holiday leaving my two separate teams of multi-skilled sub-contractors to brief me on what was actually happening based largely on their desire to complete the job, get paid and move on.
I ended up a couple of hundred pounds out of pocket due to cleaning costs, purchase of tarps and a cancelled break and had to re-schedule my own painters and decorators. Once the job was completed I had the temerity to ask Clearview management for an explanation regarding communication and to consider reasonable compensation for their mistake. The Contracts Director advised me, through his receptionist, that I could have a written apology if I wanted but compensation was not a Clearview policy as things go wrong in the building trade. I accepted the offer of the letter, as record of statement of fact, which the Contracts Director didn’t even bother to sign.
Be quite clear that if you contract Clearview you are paying for a Project Manager which in my case was worth nothing. Be quite clear that, even if a mistake is made that has nothing to with understandable building snagging, as in my case which was office mismanagement, you will receive nothing regardless of any actual inconvenience and distress caused. In the Contract Director's words “We want to make it quite clear that we do not endorse a compensation culture”
Caveat Emptor: If you want an Ultraframe roof there are many Utraframe qualified suppliers. Ring Ultraframe and get some addresses of trained Ultraframe contracters close to your home. P.S. the roof is great.

Patio Doors

Had new patio doors fitted and was really pleased with the fitting. The guys did a great job, really neat and tidy. Would really recommend Premier Windows.

Replacement Front Door

After previously having our windows replaced by trademark, we had no hesitation in ordering a new front door. From sales, fitting and aftercare is second to none.

Bathroom window replacement

A great service from start to finish

A great service from start to finish, the salesman was open and honest showing us the full range of windows, he did not push items we did not want and offered us alternatives that were a good price. The surveyor was professional and double checked everything, noting a couple of additional items we required having done. The fitters were on time and worked hard keeping disruption to a minimum. The aftersales are dealing with a cracked unit and have supplied a date for fitting. I'm very impressed with the company.

I liked the fact the salesperson was…

I liked the fact the salesperson was not pushy at all, so decided to go with 5 star windows after reading the good reviews. The communication was great from start to finish. I had 9 windows and a lintel put in. The two chaps H and Dan were great at what they did, and worked well as a team. They turned up early and did a great job, could not fault them and their work with 30 years of experience behind them. I would recommend 5 star windows for a stress free window installation

Great job as always

Had new large window on landing & new bedroom windows. Really fantastic job & nice guys to have around. Resolved potential issue with one window by suggesting a solution which didn't require the complete removal of our blinds. Great job & exactly why we have used Premier so many times

Securahome has not responded to my leaking door

I have 8 years of a 10 year guarantee for a Solidor door from Securahome. Rain water is leaking through the letterbox and leaving a puddle on my floor every time it rains. I have tried to contact Securahome, but the 01792 224090 number on their Swansea website is out of service. The 0800 number tells you to fill out an online form for service queries. I did this three weeks ago and have heard nothing from them, apart from a no-reply email.

This morning I rang the 0800 number to try and speak to someone, but which ever option I selected from the menu, I was told to leave a message.

Has this company gone out of business?
