very disappointed with the fitters, who butchered our 200 year old cottage, we will live with the scars

The whole process from start to finish was excellent, Alan who came out to advise us on the windows was honest and understood our requirements straight away, he even took it a stage further offering good advice on the type of window for the kitchen and how the back door would benefit from opening outward, both of these turning out to be fantastic choices. He didn't mess around with the price pretending to get special offers etc; and simply gave me a competitive figure which I accepted. I was communicated with regarding a 70mm difference in the door frame due to the choice of door, the chap who phoned me had to explain a couple of times as I was a bit slow on the uptake and he persisted and was only happy when I fully knew what choice I was making. The surveyor was efficient, not the most chatty bloke in the world but very thorough, he made sure he was happy with the project and checked every detail with me again to make sure I was happy. The fitters, Stu and Al were amazing; I was anxious about the job as anyone would be; but these guys were brilliant. They communicated exactly what they were doing at what stage and were so tidy and organised it was great. Stu's attention to detail was superb and problems were dealt with efficiently. It was the finishing touches that made all the difference, Stu took time to make things look good which was appreciated. When there was an issue with the porch ceiling Stu made sure it was okay and told me what I needed to do next, he could have easily just left it in a state but he wasn't prepared to do so. The quality of the product is clear, neighbours have commented on the door and porch saying how nice it looks and it does. I cannot comment on the long term quality of the windows and doors but have to say so far I am really satisfied with the whole project.

Our conservatory started to subside two months after completion. We reported this on the 12th of July 2013 and it took until the 12th of September 2013 to start to fix the problem. This only happened after contacting the bank. It has now been two weeks and the work is still not complete. We never know if they are coming or not. My wife has cancer and this is causing a great amount of stress to her. Clearview customer service can only be described as appalling. Our overall experience is a nightmare.

I was very pleased by the whole process from start to finish. All the staff were well informed, efficient and friendly. Any problems were quickly dealt with. The workmanship is of a high standard. My windows and door look totally in keeping with the age of my property. I am looking forward to a warmer winter! I am very pleased I chose 5 Star Windows.

Windows look good and fitted well. The bay window interior window cill is spoilt a bit by strips of plastic covering joints.

The two guys who came to fit the new windows were on time, pleasant and efficient. Very pleased with the result, thank you Mark and Mark.

We are delighted with the new orangery and would certainly recommend Clearview. The whole project from the initial contact to completion was excellent. All the Clearview staff were very knowledgeable and professional. All the the workmanship was very good but I would especially like to commend the men who put the roof and panels in, the plasterers and the brickies as I felt their work was outstanding. The only disappointment was the failure by the materials supplier to place the materials where we wanted them and to collect the excess materials within a reasonable time.

All very satisfactory except lack of written quote and technical information in brochures.
