Trademark cane and surveyed the existing conservatory and recommended a conversion, which meant replacing a polycarbonate roof and the previously installed windows.
From the beginning of the project the work was carried in a professional manner, and the fitters were very pleasant. Once completed they left the site clean and tidy.

We contracted ERG to take down our old polycarb conservatory,and install a new solid roofed one. Conscientious and flexible tradesmen, excellent quality materials,kept informed throughout when different trades would appear. Very competitive pricing. We are delighted with our new build.

From the first visit by Lyndon I felt I could trust 5 Star to build the orangery that I wanted. There was no hard sell and every detail mattered. I am so pleased with the end result. I was given a schedule of work and work went well apart from a few days delay due to bad weather which, of course, was totally out of anyone's control!  This was fibre glassing on the roof which depended on dry weather. I was given a revised schedule of work. The new orangery matches the existing house so well. The workmen were all polite and friendly and cleared up very well when finished.  The office staff were always on the end of the phone if I had a query. I would certainly recommend 5 Star.

We had two doors and a window replaced and couldn't be happier. Staff were friendly and thorough and the quality is top notch. Highly recommended.

We have used Amber twice before. We liked them. We used them again. This time, they messed up the order. They got the wrong windows, wrong fittings, and wrong glass. A commendable effort in getting it wrong. So, it wasn't installed on the day and we had to wait several more weeks before the windows were finally fitted.

These things happen. Unfortunately, we lost business as a result of the mistake by Amber Windows. It cost us money - not much. Maybe £200. I hinted for a reduction on the bill. I asked for a reduction on the bill. They simply ignored me.

That's fine. They did the job. Albeit - a bit of a mess up.

Here's the thing. We aim to update and install new windows in the front of the house next year. It's a huge job and Amber Windows won't be getting the contract. That £200 will be a rounding error, by the time we get the bill for the windows.

5star did our bifolds, window and roof pimple, they did what they said they would do, fitting was excellent, fitting team 23 worked hard and left no trace that they had been there other than a great set of doors that need only the slightest touch to open them. . All in all a pleasant experience, and delighted with the service and outcome. Rain or shine they look brilliant!

This is the third time using 5 Star.  They are a long established company and do a solid job.   The after care is excellent.   They are a safe pair of hands and did a great job in replacing doors, windows and a large conservatory roof for me.   Very efficient, helpful and trustworthy …. Happy to recommend.
